We have a lot of mechanisms these days to prevent accidental item loss. Disarm/RECOVER mechanics, MARK mechanics. But we still don't have anything that would prevent you from simply dropping something, putting it in the wrong container (that you're not wearing), or giving it away accidentally. Was wondering if we could expand the scope of MARK to also protect against these things. Either adding a "CONFIRM" or forcing you to un-mark them before dropping/giving/etc.
Is there any reason GIVE and PUT/DROP couldn't take MARK into account?

Check out the (somewhat new) FLAG/SET commands, SET NOMARKEDROP and SET SAFERDROP:
SaferDrop - Prompt to confirm PUT, DROP, or PLACE if the item would leave your inventory.
NoMarkedDrop - Prevent the PUT, DROP, or PLACE verbs from moving an item with your MARK out of your inventory.
- EK
