Would it be possible for signature verbs that require targets to be indicated in some fashion, either with an asterisk or a (T) after the verb:

Valid Options for this character
gaze
hold
duck
stare
beckon

All but one of these requires a target, and since they're used relatively infrequently, I often run into:

This option requires you provide a target.

And there are a lot of signature verb options at the Academy, some of which have targeted and untargeted versions.
