1. A soft, white glow briefly surrounds you as you focus your thoughts on the [Spell Name] spell... (Restricted to Minor Spirit spells.) |
2. Seven phantom tentacles sprout from the base of your spine and wrap around you in a binding embrace as you prepare [Spell Name]... |
3. Tiny colorful twinkling motes gather in the palm of your hand as you prepare the [Spell Name] spell... |
The idea here is to designate numbers to a special spell. Such as PREP PHRASE 2 701 to assign #2 to Blood Burst. We could even do this to assign spells to the same phrase. (Illustrated below)
(Assigned to 701, 704, 706) |
3. Tiny colorful twinkling motes gather in the palm of your hand as you prepare the [Spell Name] spell... (Assigned to 401, 406, 414) |
As you can see, Spell Prep #2 would be used for Blood Burst, Mind Jolt, or Phase and Spell Prep #3 would be used for Elemental Defense I, Elemental Defense II, and Elemental Defense III. We could also use this to assign multiple spell preps to a single spell, while this isnt neccessary, it would allow for additional flavor, by letting a spell "rotate" between diffrent spell preps.
(Assigned to 701) |
3. Tiny colorful twinkling motes gather in the palm of your hand as you prepare the [Spell Name] spell... (Assigned to 701) |
As you can see, Blood Burst is now assigned to two different spell preps, so, using this, it would pick one of the two at random.
Thank you for the consideration.
