Crit weighting and padding are useful, and damage padding has some edge cases. Damage weighting still seems less useful than the others. Here are a couple suggestions that might improve on it:
Damage weighting could give a phantom boost to DF, only added in after the crit is calculated. This would make the effective damage bonus variable but more effective, while still leaving the crit alone. It could also be something where the ratio of CER to DF bonus varies by weapon base, to add some more interest to the neglected bases. And, frankly, damage padding could become the opposite, if we wanted to go there.
Damage weighted weapons could get a SMR bonus proportional to CER when using certain maneuvers where force is more useful than finesse. Not to parry or riposte, for example, but maybe to disarm or clobber.
Maybe there are better ideas out there. This used to get a fair amount of discussion but I haven't seen it mentioned in awhile.

I'm still waiting for them to change how invar's natural bonus works. Invar should have a natural bonus of +2 to the CvA (when used for shields/armor) or AvD (when used for weapons).
Right now, invar is +2 to AS or DS. Once you enchant it, it is nothing more than a basic item with an enchantment on it. Invar loses it's special, natural bonus once it's enchanted.
As for damage weighting, I would like to see them at least adjust up the minimum amount before random weighting kicks in. Anything over +5 Damage weighting/padding is randomized between +5 to whatever it is capped at. If you have a masterfully damage weighted weapon that has 20 CER, you're attacks will do anywhere from +5 to +20. I'd like to see the minimum be set at +5 or 50% of your damage weighting, whichever is greater.

I think damage weighting should go back to the way it was before there was a variable roll on how much would be applied. So if you have a 15 point damage weighted weapon it should add the full 15 points rather than a roll between 1-15. I don't think that is overpowered. It still wouldn't make these weapons all that great unless you had some ridiculously weighted 200 point weapon. In that case anything over say 30 points make a variable roll: 30-200

Quicksilver weapons--Palma had one (mace?) and I had a greatsword--were +40 damage weighted, but -20 enchant.
The black ash mattocks (OTS at a merchant) were +30 damage weight, and +18 enchant.
Given the number of creatures that is difficult to crit-kill, damage weighting with a Haste effect was very powerful... until some started having >2000 hit points.

Understand you are asking for the full points but on the plus side I think you always get at least 5 or 6. I believe the roll is something like 5-15 or 6-15 vs. 1-15 (first 5 or 6 points are always applied).
