Recently, (alright kind of recently) an OOC MHO Officer meeting was held where I discussed new changes to way events will be tallied, as well as introducing new additions to the prize lists, and a brand new benefit available for Tier 3 MHOs. I’d like to take a moment to outline these changes here for those who were unable to attend, and as a permanent record of those changes.
[Events]
Beginning immediately, a minimum of 75% of required events should be held in or near the base town of that MHO. The primary purpose of MHOs is to foster a sense of community in the town in which they are located, and to that end the emphasis should be placed on running events in that town.
This means that for Tier 3 groups, a minimum of four events should be held in that group’s base town, 3 out of 4 events for Tier 2 groups should be run in their base town, and Tier 1 groups should run at least one of their required events in their base town.
Special exceptions will be made for major festivals such as Frontier Days or any other major festival deemed relevant to this change.
[Prizes]
A bevy of new prizes have been added to the list of pre-approved prizes for Tier 3 groups, including:

Tea Stove (Limit of one per MHO)

A complete list of pre-approved items is located here: https://sites.google.com/site/gs4mho/ultimate-mho-guide/event-support/tier-3-item-lists
I’m always on the lookout for more scripts to add, so if you have any ideas please don’t hesitate to share them! Just bear in mind that the request of a new item does not guarantee the approval of that item.
[Tents]
Effective immediately, Tier 3 groups are now permitted to request up to 2 two-room tents to be used for annual events that have been held a minimum of 2 years. This should allow groups to add a unique touch to their signature events. A couple of thing to keep in mind for your tents:
Room Titles: A maximum of 31 characters, and should have something in the name to indicate that the tent belongs to your group.
Room Descriptions: Maximum of 512 characters. This is a hard system limit and there is no getting around it.
Room Props: Common room props such as benches, trash cans, and unlimited food items are permissible. No custom scripts will be created for this benefit. A limit of three items per room will be permitted.
A to general design principles, it is important to avoid what we term “expository lumps”, essentially a list of items contained in the room. Additionally, you should reference things as being “on the left” or “to the right” as it is impossible to know where in the room any given character is standing.
