We should be able to loot the kids for candy if we fail the bounty. Candy corn would be a reasonable consolation prize, I think.

My favorite failed child bounty was when I wanted to see what clever "You shouldn't do that!" message the GMs had written when you try to attack a child.

It turns out that the message is "Incredible blast shatters head into a red spray."

On-topic, PEER is my favorite verb for child rescues.
