if you're in the middle of a recipe and you lose your internet connection for whatever reason, there's a good chance you'll lose your cauldron also.
is there any way to fix this please? it's ridiculous. make the janitor skip over cauldrons or something. it especially sucks because it's one of those things that you'd really like to get altered or lightened someday but you have to worry about losing it constantly.

any chance they could be given some of the properties of Disk (511)? meaning if you log off it will wait for you 15 minutes. and if someone else tries to mess with your cauldron it says "that isn't yours" or whatever the normal disk messaging is.
I'm not advocating the cauldron follow me around like a disk, though that would be really cool. I try to keep my expectations reasonable.

<<As an aside, is there a way to cancel an alchemy recipe immediately? Like a TURN CAULDRON and empty it or something? Aside from just sealing it.>>
Extinguishing and re-lighting it tends to clear what's already in there.

You might know about this already, but there are some animated cauldrons out there that will follow the owner around and also do not let others pick them up once you put them down. I don't know how they behave if you logout, though I assume they'd have the same problem as the normal ones.

If you get disconnected in the middle of making something, your cauldron can stick around for a few minutes (not sure how long, exactly, but I've had time to reset modem and router) and no one can pick up your cauldron. They get a message something along the lines of 'That isn't yours.' But then, when I tried to get someone else's cauldron, I was in the room when they got disconnected. I wanted to grab it for them, but I couldn't. And I'm assuming that the janitor didn't snag it since I was in the room. When I got disconnected, there was no one else in the room, but the janitor thankfully didn't snag my cauldron.
