I haven't found anything on this and being I'm still a bit new I figured I'd ask here.
What kind of time is associated with unlearning an armor spec and relearning another?
I've heard a few folks talk about doing this based off their hunting area, which sounds nice but based off other things that migrate I can't imagine it's worth it.

I believe it's about the same rate as cmans and skills. If you are doing a minor change, the conversion is fastest, 1 armor point or cman point per hour or two? A larger change will probably slow down the process.
If you don't want to wait, you can use your annual fixskill (making sure to unlearn all of the skills/cmans/armor specializations prior to confirming) and then applying the points elsewhere, or you can buy a cman/armor potion from the Adventure Guild using bounty points, or from a player using their points for silver.

I'm not sure I wanna test it, as unlearning even one armor rank could take a while depending on the answer.
Anyone have a locker char outside the 30 days they'd wanna test on?
I've currently got a couple of ranks of reinforcement and I'm not sure I see much of a difference was considering playing around with some of the other options.

The conversion rate would be slower on the entire amount being unconverted and it would be longer due to the extra rank(s) being unconverted.
If available, use your free fixskill. You get a new one in a couple months anyway and they don't stack. Or, use/buy a guild potion, if you can't wait.
