I'm thinking that some of the code which governs CHE's and tables was written prior to 630 because my companion can't enter my House or go with me to a table.
If you do an AC review is this something that can be looked into? I figure that my companion should be able to go anywhere I go.

Remember that if you are indoors, your companion cannot join you unless you have Nature's Touch (625) active. As for tables, no types of companions, familiars or demons are allowed at tables. Tables are for people. :)

Ya I know about 625. Just saying that anywhere my ranger can go, the companion should be able to go also. Tables, houses, annex ... anywhere.
BTW, I've seen demons summoned by sorcs in a room that the companion couldn't go into. I think the problem is not that someone decided where animal companions can be but that these places were coded before 630 was implemented.

I don't know about houses, but for tables it's not just companion animals. Familiars (920) can't follow their wizards to tables (same with spirit servants), so I'd guess the incompatibility is quite old indeed.

Huh. There shouldn't be anything specific about CHEs, generally, that prevent companions from following, unless the original builders decided to ban familiars for some reason (sometimes this is done to prevent intruders). There's certainly no such issue in Sylvanfair, although I remember it being discussed. 630 was a relatively "late" arrival, so most of the CHEs--and indeed most of the known lands--were coded long before companions.
After investigating the annexes, I've found they're rather hit and miss. The Icemule Annex in Silvermule had no issues with any type of companion, familiar or demon. But the warehouse Annex in Solhaven wouldn't allow any kind of companion, familiar or demon to even enter the building, much less the annex. The Mist Harbor annex allowed any sort of companion to enter the building, but only familiars and demons could enter the actual annex, while animal companions waited in the hall.
The CHE and Annex issues are probably best addressed through your house officers, who can request any necessary adjustments through the CHE guru (GM Scrimge). For other specific areas, you might try mentioning them in their respective town folders. Some of them might be oversights, while others might be intentional.
