Good Idea ++

Reminds me of what you might see on antique roadshow.

Maybe the area should have an "escrow officer" (terrible name) who would make sure the person who owned the item got it back. So if someone logged off or walked off, etc, the room would show "The escrow officer grabs a <precious item> from Bard before she walks north."

I would propose a suggestion that they make an are where those wishing to have an item loresung place it on a pedestal/counter table and that a PC Bard can loresing the item placed there but not get it from the place. Only the person placing it there could retrieve it.

This would prevent the event of someone stealing something under the guise of offering to loresing it, while still promoting interaction. The messaging could be made available to both people in the room, or just the Bard.

It would also alleviate someone genuinely accidently logging out with said item, due to illness, disaster, technical problems, etc.

Could we also make it just mechanically possible to loresing or bless an item without holding it just with it being shown to the Bard in question, please?
