Hello! Now that EG is almost done with, I've a few requests. I know you can't always get any old script, but it would be most appreciated if you could check for us.
Rikelle's Morphing Armor script - As this is now a year old, can this get added?
Thumpers from Line In The Sand - Been sitting on one of these for years and was hopeful to get it unlocked this EG, since the shop was back, but never saw the merchant
Eye Scry Monocles - I'm doubtful this would be allowed, as it's brand new, but as I don't think a merchant ever showed to unlock them, it would be most appreciated.
Dawdly's flower pots - Since these were moved to DM and the shop was closed, and no merchant showed up to do any unlocking on them, additional opportunities for unlocking would be greatly appreciated.
Jurbus' Steins - Also new, so I doubt it'll make it any time soon, but it's an entirely fluff type of thing and aweesssooome
Ghule Gear from Goblyn and Ghule's shop - Only able to get this unlocked at EG, which is a shame. Would love more chances for it.
Castaways Cookery Items - Available at EG 2013 in EZscript form and then EG 2014 in their own script form, I would love a chance to get these unlocked also. If there was a method of updating the EG 2013 ones INTO the EG 2014 script, that would be awesome too.
Metamorphic Gear - side adding - I HIGHLY doubt this would be approved, but the service is so insanely restricted that it would be nice.

I'm with Japhrimel on all of these. Love what you're doing already with unlocking (and clearly, I'm not alone as the huge crowd last night broke the spinner), and adding these items into the mix would be outstanding.
>Metamorphic Gear - side adding - I HIGHLY doubt this would be approved, but the service is so insanely restricted that it would be nice.
Yes, yes, and more yes -- even if it were a Really Rare Raffle option, if there's anything that could make this happen, I would be delighted! I'm not sure why adding a side to fluff items, which has no mechanical benefit and exists only to make it easier to change looks without having to transfer items from one container to another, is so rare that it doesn't even appear at annual paid events.

Last night was crazy, but fantastic. Thank you for putting so much effort in.
As far as requests go, would it be possible to add the herb bundling kits? And, if they are not available on the list yet (I didn't see them, but may have looked for the wrong name), could the weapons from Idle Edge be added as well?
Thank you.

>>as the huge crowd last night broke the spinner
My spinner spun for 99 people. Of those people spun, 10 didn't stay for their turn. There were 12 extra people left at the end who weren't spun in the beginning but waited anyway. So all in all, I unlocked for 101 people last night. Whew!

Just to address these two so that Jainna doesn't have to do a go-between (and so that I can provide some long-winded explanation since these two come up a bit):
>>Ghule Gear from Goblyn and Ghule's shop - Only able to get this unlocked at EG, which is a shame. Would love more chances for it.
Unlikely that this will go to Xerria's list; they're definitely EG-specific, or at the least, Goblyn-specific. Cloaks and fangs (and brooms before their next appearance) can be unlocked to T2 by any EG merchant, FWIW. The silver lining to that overall restriction, however, is that I'm very invested in the script series and give it some type of TLC and/or expansion each year. I had a number of requests during EG to come allow unlocks beyond the festival, and I've pretty much already promised to make a concerted effort to do that a few times during the year. If we get to 6 months from now and I haven't done it even once, feel free to kick me!
Regarding Tier 3 cloaks (since this is probably the most common question I get): that is a once-every-handful-of-years unlock, given that it gives the cloak teleport ability. As you can imagine, I don't get to hand those out every year. If it's just that you guys want more verbs or some other non-mechanical but neat feature for the cloaks, let me know.
>>Metamorphic Gear - side adding - I HIGHLY doubt this would be approved, but the service is so insanely restricted that it would be nice.
Assuming that you're referring to the items that can have up to 10 "sides" and that use a RUB to switch between them: it wouldn't be approved as part of the Xerria offerings, no -- it's not meant to be a mass service like that, and it also isn't traditional unlocking. That doesn't preclude it from being offered to Premies altogether, of course. The main restrictions are in place, however, because despite not being mechanically beneficial, it is still a specialty fluff script, and I'd like it to remain that way for now.
I do think there's a little bit of a misconception about how often/much the service is offered -- it's offered several times a year, and if we're talking big events, it's been at EG every year since 2011 until this year, as well as others (like last year it was at the Spitfire). That said, I'll look at opening it up a wee bit more to a few specific GMs to do during regular alteration sessions. It wouldn't hurt to ask my merchants, also, when they're doing general alteration work.
As a note, I'm going to guess that sometimes I haven't even realized this script was being talked about, since it's actually called "Revolving Image"; I always assumed "Metamorphic Alters" were something worlds away cooler =p But now I know ;)

I never knew it was called this, but now I know! This script is actually talked about at least several times a year. :)
A service to add this script to non-scripted items was offered a few years ago as a Premium offering. It would be wonderful if this was offered again, even with just two sides, as that was far more useful to me than the off the shelf "Revolving Image" scripted items.

Actually, I made the decision not to open the shop for EG16 over the summer...long before I was involved with Delirium Manor. After DM was created, I decided to put these (unlocked to T2) in the prize hopper for DM, drop one each of T3/T4 in the jackpot prize feeders for both DM and EG, AND offer a method to purchase the seeds. I figured this would be a way to offer these despite the shop not opening, and that it would make players happy (rather than cause claims of, 'closed shop to move inventory to a pay event').
Unlocking the pots to T3 and T4 makes them more than (semi) fluff, and their release is under a bit more control. These won't be added to Xerria's list.

... is Wounded Wear on the list?
If not, can it be?
I totally understand that T3 is not going to be offered, though it'd be nice if T1 or T2 were a thing, even if it was one of the 'really rare' things.
I have a whole set of partially altered T1 unlocked items that I'd want to slowly turn to T2 without having to buy completely new items at DR or something, because then I'd have to start the whole process of altering them again.

There's no such thing as cooler than a cloak that goes with everything!
I'd asked merchants about adding sides in the past, and they were pretty much universal in their "Nope!" Rather than hold up merchants' lines with my wrap, I just moved on to altering other things; not like I don't have a pile of other clothing to work on that won't put a hitch in things. Had I known the script was yours, I absolutely would have beleaguered your merchants about it. :D
Thanks for it, by the way -- my Revolving Image wrap is one of my favorite items.

Re: Xerria Unlocking Requests on 11/02/2016 04:22 PM CDT
Making an observation here, not really a request or anything. But it strikes me as endemic to some of the player perceptions versus GM approval paths, so I thought to lay it up here.
>>that is a once-every-handful-of-years unlock, given that it gives the cloak teleport ability.
While I wouldn't want ever single cloak in the lands to have this ability (mine never will ;), I really struggle with how 'difficult' this is to get done, when contrasted against the Navigator Ring in the treasure system, the items deployed through the years to manage / work with those rings, etc. I mean - there seems to be times when I can't turn around without tripping over a doggone ring! I thought at one point it might even be cool to have a contest to see who actually can get the biggest credit balance with the Chronomage systems.
But then, I only like contests I have a shot at winning. ;) So, I just pawn them.
I greatly respect the 'exclusivity' and 'challenge' aspects of our lands and want to be able to recognize the pride and involvement of the GM team in unique item creation and joy in player value of the same. But a 'teleporting' limitation on any item seems . . . misplaced (?) in today's lands. And this type of observation can fall in line with any number of other 'rare' services that are offered.
It's a shame when it's easier to just wander around and pick up something that does what the 'rare' (or better) ability offered does.
Again, not making a request for change. But it is something I think we should acknowledge. . . part of that 10 step program. :)

I can definitely see about having myself or someone run a session of this; huge fan of script-adding to existing items.
Also, I think we should stick with Metamorphic Alters for the name... like I said, way cooler ;) I'll just update the script name!

Thanks so much for this! I am also a huge fan of script-adding. I've literally been waiting to get this script added for a few years now.
Incidentally, I think the Metamorphic Alters name came about because that's what GM Tamuz always called it when he brought it out in the past, so I think that's how players caught on to the name and called it that. :)
