Interesting work with the tattoo. I often wrestle with how to describe large and intricate tattoo designs within the limitations of how tattoos work.
Just reminds me how much tattoos need an update...

I had trouble explaining my tat, also, but I think this one turned out pretty nice:
a mangled tattoo on his shoulder - Emblazoned across his upper left shoulder is a crest that bears a scarlet pentagram on a field of grey, with incarnadine shields and demons below it. The phrase, "Palestran Guard" is written above the upper portion of the crest. Underneath, another phrase has been inked in now illegible letters, having been previously crossed out. Detailed over portions of the illegible scrawl is a hand of playing cards, aces and eights showing.
