The last run of HSN was 2004, which VANKRASN39 was very helpful with sharing a link on. Basically, Hot Summer Nights are packed with releases for a portion of the season. This year, we plan to spread it out a little more and have releases (tentatively) from June 21st to September 12th.

In the example from 2004, it showcased a lot more contests/roleplay than we anticipate for 2015. Our main focus is to bring some long-awaited releases, as well as some documentation that staff has been working on for awhile. We likely won't have a detailed release schedule like the 2004 listing, but I'll see about keeping the wiki updated as things get released.

Typically, lots of changes getting rolled in. Think "an Announcement--or two, or more--pretty much every day, for two months." Across a wide gamut of races/professions/spells/skills/creatures/areas.

The culmination of the original Hot Summer Nights--these started as a promotion on the GEnie service, with them trying to get people to log more hours (== spend more money)--was the Auction, where some pretty neat-o stuff was released. (Kodos' original hedgehog, the spell-storing shield [later converted to a staff], who knows how many weapons & armor.)

The first one I was a part of precluded game changes that forced me to stop playing for nearly ten years. I really hope this is not a repeat performance.

I think the Impure Coraesine Weapons from return to coraesine field should double hit flare more often, its probably once every 10 to 15 swings. Its a bonded weapon and its attuned.
