I have a young bard at 25 trainin', he swings a naginata with 27 ranks of armor wearing brigandine @ 5 seconds when I type KILL, he swings a lance at 8 seconds now. Will the 8 seconds be my lowest I can go with the lance even if i continue with my armor trainin'. I'm intending to stop with my armor train @ brigandine which i believe is 27 ranks unless if I continue at it will it lower my round time for lance to a lower figure? Can someone advise me? Thank you.

You could train off a bit more manuever hinderance, but no the primary reason you are swinging a lance at 8 seconds is your dexterity + agility bonus is not high enough. Improving this will take enhancives, levels, or a fixstat to shave more time off your swing. If its killing stuff I say use the naginata its got a great avd and they hit more than hard enough to maim most things in a shot maybe two.
