Just curious at what rank most of you stop training in Spirit Mana Control, and what - if any - benefits are derived from training beyond that point. I think I may already have exceeded it.
Also would be interested in hearing opinions on lore training and which you all find most beneficial. At level 43 I have barely dabbled in lores at all.

Primarily, assuming you have more ranks in SMC and any other mana control skill (elemental or mental), then for every 10 ranks in SMC you have you will gain an additional 1 mana back on each mana pulse.
SMC also factors into avoiding spell burst effects and runestave defense (although there are likely cheaper ways to accomplish these goals).
Some additional spell benefits can be found on Krakiipedia at http://www.krakiipedia.org/wiki/Spirit_Mana_Control

I find 20 ranks of SMC more than sufficient to share mana, and it provides 2 mana extra per pulse. The only reasons to go beyond that, in my opinion, are to be able to use 620 on padded armors. I think it's 55 ranks to do heavy padding.

As listed on the play.net spell description for Imbue (614), don't forget that lores and SMC play a role with the spell. An excerpt:
"The amount of mana the new magical item will hold is dependent upon a dedication to the Ranger Spell Circle, the Mana Control, Spiritual skill, and the Discipline and Intuition stat bonuses. "
and
"Training in Spiritual Lore, Summoning increases the maximum mana capacity by an additional +1 mana at 1 rank up to an additional +13 mana at 91 ranks."
