So after a few years of being gone, I've finally decided to get back into GS. I was a lvl 59 ranged rogue with 3x lockpicking. Just want to make sure my training path is still viable.

1x Armor Use
2x Ranged
1x CM
2x Ambush
1x PF
2x Dodge
3x Disarm Traps
3x Lockpicking
2x Stalk and Hide
2x Perception
10 ranks of Arcane Symbols (not sure why I trained in this)
5 ranks Harness Power
Up to 407 in spells, maybe more.

Is this a solid plan? Any help would be appreciated.

Also, will I need brawling for my offhand DS since I'm not using a shield?

Thanks in advance

It looks decent, might wanna 2x in PF if you have the points and start thinking about getting some climbing and swimming soon though.

The AS was prolly for disarming scarabs and invoking scrolls with 404/403 on them before you got the spells (might also help with glyph traps, though I'm not sure about that). You can prolly drop that down to 5 ranks or less and still get the scritch message every time at your level though (if you need the points).

No need for brawling with ranged, it won't help you any unless you put away your bow/crossbow. You have enough dodge that your DS shouldn't be hurting when you get caught out of the shadows.

My advice would be to train stealth and accuracy to excess. In lieu of that there are a couple of references on Krakiipedia that you may want to look at.

http://www.krakiipedia.org/wiki/The_Art_of_the_Bow_(guide)

http://www.krakiipedia.org/wiki/Archer_(rogue)

In the latter it mentions that archers do not get stance push down benefit in archery. That is not correct, you do get the stance push down while sniping.
