Just wanted to give a cookie to each of the various GMs that were involved with the various elemental spell updates. Not for the updates themselves, other then the Minor Elemental circle those don't really have an effect on me, but for sticking around the forums and responding to player concerns and feedback.
Given the tone that some of the most vocal folk in various folders seem intent on infecting them with, I know I'd have had a hard time avoiding just going silent other then maybe a few notes about bug fixes like GMs of years past did. However, they have done an exceptional job clarifying mechanics and explaining the reasoning behind the changes as well as fixing the bugs that have been found... all while avoiding getting drawn into flame wars.
Starchitin (been lurking on most of those folders even if I haven't been posting in them)
A severed gnomish hand crawls in on its fingertips and makes a rude gesture before quickly decaying and rotting into dust. A gust of wind quickly scatters the dust.

Good call.
I'll echo that with a "thank you" to the staff who've been working so hard on the changes, listening to feedback, fixing bugs, making tweaks, patiently explaining mechanics and some reasoning behind things, all while getting little to no love at all.
With all the drama over the past few days... I get it. People are passionate about this game. Emotions run high. In the end that speaks volumes about both the game and the people who work and play in it.

Hopefully this is the kind of positive attitude everyone can get behind!
Whatever your opinion about the changes themselves, it's hard to think anyone would be negative about the attitude which has been involved.

I can't speak for others, but I know when my class gets nerfed into the ground, my first reaction is "Good job guys, way to go!"
