Help me out here. Got a character that specializes in a quarterstaff....

Do these weapons show up in the treasure system? I'm not talking about a runestaff...I believe they litter the pawn shop's weapon table.

Only quarterstaff I ever saw was back in the day...probably 10 years back, give or take, (not too long after Solhaven came about) and some poor stupid dark shambler was swinging a drake quarterstaff at me.
I of course claimed it for my own. I don't remember what happened to it. I didn't sell it....must of gotten lost on another character that I don't remember or use anymore years back.

Only quarterstaff weapons I see or hear about anymore are just ones sold from merchants, and they're generally nothing special. So, now that I've rambled on like some old fool, do these weapons drop in the treasure system?

Although not found through the treasure system I do have one of the very old translucent vultite-alloy quarterstaffs that were 5x. Can't remember if they do anything interesting, but I am sure they are alterable, aren't they? Last I heard they were selling for about 10 mil, but that was a long time ago. Any interest?

I remember those. Not really sure why they'd sell for that much, aside from their crit weighting and/or rarity of them now. I'd most certainly be interested in getting my hands on one, but I've never been one to have very much coin on my characters. A price tag like that would clean out my bank....tempting, though.

Temp crit weighted.

Damage weighted.

Scripted.

If possible, the polearm trip flares on a quarter staff would be cool.

There's a runestaff that casts Spike thorn on a inactive account.

That's just what we want, criss-crossing furrows all over the town streets from someone wandering through with their animated plow super buddy.

Quarterstaves imbedded with waveable spells; 5x flaring ones; neat altered ones; specially designed enhancive ones; and so forth. I like quarterstaves, personally.

You inhale deeply upon your pipe, puckering your lips as you send out three rings of smoke before you, then puff out a small vine of smoke that darts right through all three which causes them to disperse in a hazy shroud!

Quarterstaves with mechanical flares. Make them temp if that is needed to qualify for the hopper, but people would use those for ambushing.

Only it's a quarterstaff.

I own the greataxe, and that silly quarterstaff is squeezing in on my ability to say "I own the only shadowdeath THW" so please, but it and toss it down the well. =)
