Once again, hunting pressure is broken.

Eight boxes from plane 4: pink topaz, rusty doorknob, blue coral, acantha leaf, feras mattock, corroded medallion, transparent spherine, black crystal, green garnet, blue and green spherine, and coins.

This loot is not even worth picking up. I realize a certain someone is running 5+ characters simultaneously in the area every day now, but this is getting ridiculous.

What happened to risk vs. reward?

Had an escort to follow that last hunt up. Killed a mountain ogre along the way. It dropped a box with ring in it worth 1.5k. That beat anything I found in the eight boxes that dropped from level 97-103 monsters. Loving your game right now. Just sayin'!

I actually agree with Taverkin on this. One of the reasons I don't even bother hunting the rift anymore, even when I'm in the area and have nothing to do. I feel like it would cost more for me to put on my enhancives for it than the treasure return. If nothing can be done in the near future for a permanent fix, that reset button needs to be pressed more frequently.

I'm not sure how the hunting pressure formula works, but would it be possible to have the capped areas set on a different scale than the rest of the areas? If so, my quickly thought out suggestion would be to set the baseline up as (# of capped hunting area capable accounts/# of capped hunting areas) X area modifier.

Since we are always seeing more players progressing to the capped hunting areas this sort of formula would need to be relooked at and possibly adjusted on an annual basis to keep it at appropriate levels.

Hey hey now, it's only 4 characters.

GMs have insisted before that there is just as much risk for a level 30 character hunting in a level 30 hunting grounds as there is for a capped character hunting in a capped hunting grounds. I don't agree with this assessment but that seems to be their answer to the "risk vs. reward" argument.

You are likely seeing the effect of the storyline ending. There's a big rejig in what capped critters are being killed without all those invasions as well characters and players reassessing where to hunt. Time to visit Nelemar if Plane 4 has been script mined?

Don't worry about my bank account. Trust me. It will be okay and as this is almost entirely a cash-based market at the high end, how much silver I have has little to do with what I am able to purchase. That has a lot more to do with how many premium points I have or how many event tickets I purchase.

This is a game design complaint. It's a poor design that allows loot at any capped level hunting area to drop to this level. Hunting pressure was intended to do what it does, but the treasure system is also supposed to take into account risk vs. reward.

Hey! A feras mattock and a rusty doorknob! That's a treasure trove! (Hint: doorknobs can be used for a practical joke in any room that has a door ... also screws up scripters moving through).
