Hey everyone, the common, uncommon, and rare treasure piles will be out sometime today as I do the final updates to the pile mechanics (so you can LOOK IN, GAZE, or PEER to see what can be found). This new mechanic is an optional setting that other treasure piles may use in the future. We also have a gem pile. Items from the treasure piles are not sellable.
The epic treasure pile will be going out Friday and will only be out for a small duration as we try to monitor this new method of distributing items. The items don't make copies, there is only one of each. These items would be the same quality as you might find in a box hunting outside of events or in the Trove last year. The term "epic" might be a bit misleading, they're just part of that tier listing from previous years. On the GM side, we called them "unique" finds. The price and exact time Friday is still TBD.

The first "epic" treasure pile has been emptied. The next one we put out with be the 25,000 seashells pile and will be going out on Friday, October 22nd. It will come with a 4 hour cooldown per search to give everyone a chance. Items in this pile will be around 6x (+28) to 7x (+37) or have other properties.

Seconded! I had fun with the pile, but would have blown through all the seashells I had ear-marked for other things if it weren't for the cooldown.

The next pile will be placed out on Friday, October 22nd, at roughly 5pm ET. There will be a 4 hour cooldown between searches by a single character. The pile is MOSTLY gear that ranges between +28 to +37. Some of it is plain, nothing too special, some of it has higher end properties. There are a few fluff items, at least one magical trinket, and some other odds and ends. There are over 100 items and the price is 25,000 seashells. It will remain out until it is empty. It will be located in the same location, [Caligos Isle, Desolate Islet].
