Hey Platinum players! I'm slowly getting everything set up for some beta testing for Open Sea Adventures in the Platinum instance. Majority of the resources are in place now and I'm getting the finishing touches ready.

We'll want to keep the testing to when I'm available for now. This is a LARGE update to the game and touched on A LOT of base systems. If anything else seems off, let me know.

The previous primer would be the best place to start, the wikis, and the official discord. There is an OSA channel we can use or the platinum channel there.

I look forward to making you suffer!

Been beta testing the OSA. First thing that comes to mind: could we get rid of the 5000 silver fee to bring the ship back please? half an hour in dock and poof! I don't mind the poof so much because I understand (I think) the reason for it though it's a pain too but making us dish out silvers every time is also just a bit annoying.

More posts to come.

Another beta test note:

Discrimination in the bank. Human ports pay 1% plus 5 silvers. All others pay 5% plus 10 silvers. I mean it's no big deal but I thought we were getting rid of biased practices?

Sorry. Not "ports" but notes from banks in human cities. My bad.

Think we talked through these. :)

The 5000 silver is for your planks and cannon balls. It is 100 per ball, 100 per piece of wood.

The 5000 silver is actually less than that. It also covers your docking fee. If you fight one pirate ship it should cover that cost.

Exchange rates are everywhere, the exchange rates we have are on par for the most lenient by town, not by race.

It is 1 hour docked, 2 hours at sea. This will stay that way until further notice. I know you mentioned changing it just for plat, but I'd rather have it the same as other environments for the core system.
