I'm wondering about chill spirit and the new line of cleric spells coming out. I don't really know if this is the right spot to ask, but thought it might be a fitting place to ask a question or two. I'd like to actually know a few things before I start complaining about things I don't got much info on.

That said..how is spirit\soul thought of in DR?, I don't quite understand how this new spell is targetted, affecting your left arm more than your right hand and that kinda thing. You have more or your soul\spirit in certain areas of your body?

How does it come to pass that new spells can not take armor into affect?, I know there are abilities that totally bypass shield, parry ect. already, but armor seems a strange one.

I realize clerics having a spell that only affects spirit makes sense and such just trying to bend my mind around how this spell and the line of spells work, as I know critters will be getting them as well and it kinda makes armor and such completely useless...uh oh starting to complain I'll stop there, any answers would be appreciated.

Oh yeah and I've also heard that lower spirit also makes you depart faster and in TF people are already using this to make people depart almost immediately after having no spirit left, is this the case and something to worry about once the 3rd and 4th tier spells come out along these lines?, both charecters and critters casting it included?

I can say definately that a spirit death will reduce autodepart time as your autodepart time is determined by the size of your spirit at the time of your death. Beyond that, there isn't alot that we know about the nature of spirit health. Certainly the best place to inquire is in the cleric folders, probably in the general discussion category.
