am intrigued as to what factors make for a successful Ripple against creatures.
Tested in adan'f spirit dancers. The first time I couldn't get the dancer to disappear until I'd stunned it. However, with more mana, they disappeared. I tried this spell in a rescue situation in adan'f dancers and with around 6 creatures in the room, they were all blinked out. The spell also continues to work after you die, something I also discovered, sadly.
Decided to see what I could acheive with malchatas, they being close to home and my being a little bored. Initially I had to stun the malchata to to get it to disappear, but, by increasing the cast to the maximum I could acheive, they were all blinked out on first pulse.
Might the blinking out of the creature be decided with a combination of pm, prep size and creatures evasion?

Ripple as a spell is a big ball of Bad Arse fury... it is not a spell to be triffled with, and really isn't an every day spell for most mages. But it is raw power when it is needed... and truthfully that is exactly what I like to see in some of our spells. Right now I'd say even with the limited casts I've made of it it's at least in my top 5 list of spells if not higher (That top spot belongs to Riftal Summons and Riftal Summons alone...)
