And they cost less than a plat apiece at the fest. Traders may be the ones conning. Something to be said for supply and demand, but 2000% increase is kinda hard to swallow.

exactly! they are not worth 20 plat,... therefore I would not offer that. if that offends you... too bad.

These statement always make me wonder about the way people see old fest things in DR.to use a real life example. The commision on the Mona Lisa is nowhere near what that painting would sell for today.Hell the price of an 1880's colt revolver is at least 2000%less than what one would sell for today.I dont think there is any conning going on by anyone.I think it is a supply and demand game.

Dunno, my time in the Realms, it's always been like that. Supply, demand, what the 'market' will bear.

Damn, soundin' like a Trader....heheheh

I have one of those...its identical to the silver inlaid throwing axes. Can't imagine why anyone would pay 20 plat for those.

the silver is fair slice and the cruise axe is mod slice. Also its one of the best beforming hand axes I've found. Better balanced than the forged ones.

>tap my axe

You tap a short-handled throwing axe with a blade shaped like a roaring lion's mouth that you are holding.
>l my axe

You see nothing unusual.
>app my axe

A short-handled throwing axe with a blade shaped like a roaring lion's mouth is a light thrown and medium edged type weapon.

You are certain that it could do:
low puncture damage
moderate slice damage
fair impact damage

You are certain that the axe is fairly balanced and is fairly suited to gaining extra attack power from your strength.

You are certain that the throwing axe is fairly sturdy, and is in pristine condition.

The throwing axe is made with metal.
You wonder if the throwing axe might weigh a few tens of stones.
You are certain that the throwing axe is worth exactly 5863 dokoras.

Yeah the lodge pretty easy. If your looking for a good LT I'd suggest getting the cirvi thats being sold in one of the Rakash tents at the festival. Its a not as hard hitting but alot cheaper so just stock up on them(I keep 12 spares in my vault) But if your looking for a good ME axe to use I'd say that one is definately the route to go. I vaulted my forged hand axe to use that one instead.

Oh yeah, the reason I prefer the cirvi over the axe for LT is because I have a ver bad habit of loseing my thrown weapons. As good as thoughs axes are as thrown weapons thats alot of plat to to replace.

I havent see the throwing axes forsale at the fest. I have seen the cirvis and there in one of the Rakash merchant tents. Make sure you get the right cirvi cause there are 2 of them, one i believe is HE and the other is the ME/LT. I'm not trying to be picky about your use of the word axe, just dont want to mislead anyone into thinking the throwing axe is forsale
