I think the OP might have been asking about weapon straps? I couldn't really catch the jist either. If so, they're a tanned item now.

Weapon straps can be bought in Shard. Or you can buy a pattern and tan them. I seem to remember they are among the easiest to tan items.

Yeah A little skinning and mech ranks and you can whip yourself up a sloppy one for your weapon than wear it. I also tan up a few every now and then. So if you see me ask me if I have another one and I'll hand it over for free.
