My character had a blood worm on his right leg when he teleported out of the marsh. After a failed tend, he then had two worms on his right leg. The second worm arrived after Darkeno had teleported to the NE gate, clearly away from the marsh.

Just a heads up.

The worm was already there,it just hadnt become visible yet.
It seems the worms latch on invisibly, and then pulse every so often and damage you,you only see them on the first pulse.

AFTER the first pulse...sometimes two or three...

I've gotten down to beat up and KNOWN that I had more than one on me..but wasn't able to see them.

You just have to look for the body signs.

As was talked about on the Empath board (Beleive it was there?)

It seems they "hide" behind one of there own.

I've got logs of my Empath Wife only having 1, tending it off, and her actually able to tend 4 more times.

Each time she tended one off, another would appear in the exact same place.

Total worms was 5. She also only got one "You suddenly feel tired." message, or whatever it is exactly. We have it hightlighted with a warning claxon.

Kind of odd ;)

Yep. When I go on a worm hunt I bring plenty of jadice/yelith to keep the wounds healing as they form. Not just to keep the wounds under control in general, but because it's easier to notice a worm has attached to you when abrasions show up on a leg you know was clear a moment ago.

That's when I stop where I am (they seem to appear more often when you mvoe than when you sit still), wait for the worm to appear and then tend it. Wait a minute or so for vitality to recover, then continue.

If the worms really start annoying you, make sure you have your leg armor on, that seems to slow them down quite a bit.
