Say I was to submit an app and when I got the email confirming it notice a glaring error (Namely that it seems to believe I'm under 18, which I'm not) should I just email someone that correction, or do I need to resubmit the whole thing to correct that?

Miss Helena may do things different now, however in the past when I made an error and asked, I was told to resubmit my application with the corrections and mark it as an updated.

Mozzik,

In this case, as it's a relatively small mix-up, can you go ahead and just e-mail me the clarification? I'd probably ask you to resubmit if it was the entire Comments section that needed adding.

If, however, folks feel better resubmitting their application that's fine with me. I just go with the most recent version when I review things.

I wonder how many a GM "a lot" is. Is it like a GM "soon"? Cause if it is that means everyone who ever played DR (and their dogs) have all applied. Of course I know something like... 5 applicants? At least?

I know a couple of people who've applied and most of em have written rather long (2-3 pages) of comments for the end-part of the Application. Combine Player-Long Applications with Monty-Python-A-Lot Applications and GM-Sooness and you get WOW (two w's and an o), or just an exclamatory remark.

Well, you all DO realize that, according to GM Koyta, Long-Tail is the real GM and Koyta's just around for the ride?

My attitude is, if my cat wants to write a room, I'm going to let him.

So you are saying, dear Loriene, that we need to create an Equal Opportunity Policy that requires that we give both pets and their humans the equal right to apply for and fill our positions?

All I can say is that our rooms are going to start including a lot of hair balls and catnip.

Obviously, you have never met long-tail, as a cat is the last thing long-tail would ever be mistaken for.

It was Loriene who mentioned a cat.

Long-tail is more on the order of a Large-type Familiar, although two-thirds of the type-name is similar to cat...

I tried letting my cat write a room once, the translation process from Cat to English (using a standard Cat to English Dictionary) didn't go so well, so I did it all in Cat. They made me change it in QC, darn them.

Poor Koyta was finally replaced by Long-tailenstein, built out of moldy cheese and spare parts by Long-tail, it does his bidding without question and without pay. I guess Koyta started making too many demands.

But not an application requirement. If you're normal, that's something we can correct.

How many hours of on the job training in the crazy field is required to graduate from training? And is cat worship part of the training or something we need to learn on our own?

That depends entirely on how crazy...<cough> mallable you are to begin with. Worship cats? No way! Worship Rakash! HOWL!

Unfortunately it's impossible to gauge hours as we do tailor the training (to a large extent) to the needs of each AGM. We tell folks to expect that the entire process will take about 4-6 months (that's elapsed time, of course).

Hope that answers your question.

hmm question:

Should I bother worrying if in the last part of the application I have not written like 2 pages? I have a lot of friends who I know have written more than I have. I wrote what I thought was adequate without talking ears off, but now I begin to worry..but then again, worrying is my nature...anyway, thanks in advance for reading.

I'm fairly certain that length doesn't matter. Its what you write that is important. Think of it like school, bro. Assuming you have a compitent professor, your essays are based on what you actually say and how you say it (as well as what you don't say), rather than if its long or not.

War and Peace is a big book, but Tolstoy was a terrible writer, IMO.
