>get bottle from top drawer
You get a slender glass bottle labeled "Turtle" from inside a top drawer which
is in a secure vault.
>l in bottle
The bottle is not stoppered up.
In the glass bottle you see a leaf, a small turtle, a rock, some dirt, a leaf,
some grass and some water.
I should probably upgrade him to a jar, but he seems happy in there. It'd be nice if I could put this somewhere in my house when I get it, but I guess I won't be able to due to the number of items. :(
Oh, his name is Boppum, named after one of my favorite clerics in Aesry, who some of you may know.

Turtles are coo'. Can you make them LT also? They would appraise something like no/no/f p/p fairly sturdy
Not just a pet, but a weapon of destruction that you can pet when your tired of killing all the creatures. ;)

Well, I'd never consider doing that to my beloved pet. But perhaps we mages could bring some Evil Flying Snapper Turtles over from the Plane... Group prediction anyone?

True story. Had a pet turtle, had a hook drilled into its back so it could have a leash (vs keeping it in a cage\aquariam) We would let it wander in our backyard on its leash and it seemed happy enough until we were playing in the yard one day and my friend didnt see the leash, ran through it catching the rope on his foot and sent the turtle flying into a wall where it went SPLAT. They may be LT but you only get one throw out of them.

First off, poor turtle. :( Oh well, who's up for some beers?
That's the whole reason we make them fairly sturdy as a weapon and not say, well constructed. Weaponize the turtles! Thunder, thunder, thunderturtles. Hooooo! Thunderturtles on the loose, thunderturtles on the loose. Thunder, thunder, thunder, thunder... turtles! Hooooo!

Ruffles you must not take your meds before you post. Or.. is that you must take your meds before you post.
The turtles will be Ninja turtles. With ultimate power of course. On the perfect roll, the turtle flips out after you throw it and cuts off the critters head, and possibly yours as well.
You are Scout Peperic Timarson, an Elven Ranger, all around nice guy and occasional board bully.

One of my characters had a pet turtle named Nellie that she kept in her picnic basket with a bowl of mealworms so that she (the turtle) never went hungry. That is until the day some horrible person picked Nellie up off of her nice little cloth that she was sunbathing on and ate her. It was horribly traumatic and I only wish that I had kept her in a safe bottle like you wisely do.
It would be nice if there was a way to take the fish and turtles that are caught and make them into pets. Put them in the aquariums or bowls for homes or something.
