Kuniyo still accepting pelts? on 09/03/2010 02:08 AM CDT

I tried to gain a Kuniyo favor in Steelclaw Clan using a pelt from a fledgling gryphon. I realize there are three altars in this room; I was careful to use the one with a wolverine on it. I did the usual routine, and the pelt vanished without yielding a favor. Does he not like pelts anymore?

Sounds like something's wonky.

Normally if a god doesn't accept an offering, it tumbles to the ground.

Might be a dumb question but:

Are you praying, or using OFFER <item> on altar

Offering things on altars tends to make them vanish.

All this time I thought you had to do both: offer, then pray. Normally it must not matter because items like tarts aren't offerables, but since pelts are, they vanish. Yeah, just using pray fixed it.
