i have heard numerous times that trainin strength about 40 or so is a waste of tdps. but, im really curious as to why that is. does strength suffer from the same diminishing returns that wisdom does?

how much damage you do with yer weapon is modified by strength, so wouldnt alot more strength mean alot more damage potential? also, strength is the primary thing that effects brawling damage, outside of base brawling ranks of course, right? i am not brawl prime right now, but am working towards it. so if i want to do really good damage with brawling, wouldnt a real high strength help with that?

No.

Yes. The reason that most people stop training strength is that agility also does this, and more. So once you can carry as much as you need to, you have less incentive to train strength. Plus, killing stuff at higher levels doesn't take much strength to begin with, because combat doesn't really scale.

If you want to maximize your combat damage, never stop training strength or agility.
