A previous post got me thinking about armor again, and I was trying to remember what the % of hinderance each guild could train off. I know I've seen a chart listing each guild, and each armor, but I can't find it anywhere. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

I'd like to add some ram to my imagination to get my fps above 30.

No one really knows exactly. A couple months ago someone posted a chart which was promptly removed. Some GM (Solomon?) added that the chart wasn't accurate anyway. I'm not clear on why it was removed if it wasn't accurate, but perhaps it was close. In any case, I don't have the chart saved, but even if I did I couldn't post it. Confused yet?

The chart indicated that moon mages had almost the highest % hinderances of any guild, overall.

If I were training a moon mage from scratch, I'd either go LC/HC or bone.

I train Leather, LC and HC. If I am working hiding/stalking it is fire cat leathers with HC and LC accessories. If I am working Evasion I pull out the shield and put on a forged LC shirt to go with the forged LC and HC. Of course, Seers and CoL will help and maybe even Ease. A MM already has enough penalties without adding any encumberance issues on top of it.

Train shield, evasion and a weapon or two when in combat. Killing someone with a moonblade makes Tezirah smile.

I remember that being posted along time ago. Years ago they released the exact % I can't remember what they are anymore though.

I know that leather and LC/HC can be trained down to exactly 30% of their original hinderence.

Making leather not so great for moonies. Every other guild can train it down to 20% or more.

LC/HC I think averages at 30% across the guild board.

I know warmies/barbs/paladins get a bonus on almost all armors getting them lower then any other guild.

Rangers get a bonus to leather.

Traders/empaths/bards pretty much have the same armor hinderences.

Most of what I said is common knowledge I think

and forgive me if it was said before in the thread.

Moonies do indeed get the worst armor hindrance of any guild in every single armor type. Even worse than Empaths.

Does that remain true with cloth and bone armor?

Neither of those are accurate statements.

Without going into detail, of the three guilds you mentioned Paladins have the lowest hinderance, followed by Barbarians, and then WMs.

>Rangers get a bonus to leather.

They get a bonus to making leather; it's called "Arrange". As far as wearing the armor, I'm not aware of one aside from one of their beseeches. As far as stealth hinderance, it was stated they can train it down further than all non-survival primary guilds for all armors.
