So what now? It didnt melt and it's still fully charged but for the life of me I cant get into my guild. Says I need to leave and come back after i've found the light again. Did I ruin my soul or what? I've been using my badge and tithing and tending for a while now and it's not even close.
I have no idea, but post when you figure it out. I will take a guess that you may need to repent in Therenborough.

Are you still able to use the HW and have it roar or spark or whatever? Is the only problem that you can't get into the Paladin Guild? If getting in the guild is the only problem at present, my guess would be to try repenting in Theren as Madigan suggested.. or we wait for the Paladin Team to look into it.
From what I remember when HW was first released, USING the Holy Weapon on a citizen was supposed to destroy it, so that part of the code may still be in existance in all the changes and that's the effect you are experiencing. If so, coding checks/fix is the only option I can see.

Someone suggested to me that while I was wearing the Heretic title any of the usual soul boosting stuff would not work. I did the repentance thing in Theren while wearing the Heretic title too. After changing my title back to Archon or whatever I just did a series of pilgrim badges and i'm back at full goody-two-shoe-ness.
I have to wonder if killing a few people and attacking a few more is any different than killing 2 or 3 people. Is there a bottom to the soul? I would be afraid to use my HW knowing my soul was tanked.
On a different note....My HW now flashes a blinding light and screams "Justice" everytime I use it. Is that circle based or disc/charisma based?

Flashing and screaming Justice means that apparently killing a citizen with the Holy Weapon can be repaired by restoring the soul. Interesting to know finally. Mine also shouts justice and flashes so I'm guessing its not circle based, which would seem to lean more to the disc/charima route, but that's PURELY a guess.
