Recalls are a scholarship test. If you are unable to recall something about a particular herb at this point, get more scholarship (either ranks or a temporary buff) and try again.

When the system was released I had around 250 scholarship and was able to get full details on every herb.

Never heard of a charisma req for it but I have 20 intell and almost 50 scholarship and I get this when trying

You should probably devote more time to scholarly pursuits before trying that.

Just some numbers for numbers sake on another character which happens to be an Empath. At 14 Int and 14 Charisma with 120 Scholarship I couldn't Recall Herb. At 15 Int and 14 Charisma I could.

I've dropped back to the Ranger character to see what numbers work. I bumped Int up so right now he's at 15 Int and 12 Charisma and I got the same message mentioned earlier in the thread which appears to be about needing more Scholarship which is at 39 for that character.

I'm pretty sure this was sarcasm but in case it isn't, the syntax is recall herb <name of herb>. Reason why I post this....I was dumb enough to try theh above and wonder why it wasn't working.

I'm 95% sure charisma isn't much of a factor for rangers, I have 12 now on my ranger and 20 intell/10 charisma/45 scholarship I was able to get the message I can't recall anything about that. Waiting for scholarship to hit 50 to see if I can recall anything
