Enough with the negativity folks.. The lines been crossed
You want to critize.. remember the rule..
Constructive criticism is good
Destructive criticism and I step up
Never assume somethings not being fixed
Never assume someone not posting means they arent working for you
I now return you to your regularly scheduled mayhem

<<Enough with the negativity folks.. The lines been crossed>>
I didn't notice any blatent negativity.
<<You can't tell me that living in the desert in any harder than living high up on snow covered mountains.>>
I agree. Different terrains have different types of living and survival. Some aspects in one may be easier, while others may be harder.
<<But who knows, maybe someday we'll have a scorpion as a companion and have learned how to turn sand into water, then we would deserve a desert title.>>
I don't think having a companion is a necessary definement of being a ranger either. Within the scope, of course, but not a requirement. That being said, if you live the desert, you are of the desert. The reason I think there aren't any at the moment is because they are tied to skills that are generally key attributes of their particular terrains. Desert being one that is hard to tie one to. Otherwise there could be many more terrain titles possible(tundra, plains, jungle, swamp, etc...).
<<Again, would you really find a Ranger living or identifying himself and his background as one that lives in the desert. Maybe a few of you would. But as for the guild as a whole, the desert is not a place that we have a background in.>>
A few titles I don't think identify the guild. People will most often take the titles they feel identify thier character. Since living in a desert is just as much an aspect of survival as living in a forest, it should be something a ranger can consider.
