Whats a good time frame for a dedicated circle chaser to reach 50th circle?

That plan worked better in my head.

If you're a power player, I'd say between four and five months assuming you can find the most efficient way to train. Other than that, I'd say between six and twelve months. Definitely do-able in a year's time with enough dedication, and without power-train-short-circuiting yourself.

Of course, if you have all day to play on multiple and frequent occasions, the times mentioned above can be drastically shortened.

I did it in a little under three months in TF. That was my first TF character and wasn't that great at writing scripts that would stay logged in so if you're a dedicated power player I'd say about the same time frame

Thanks! I've got a few scripts my husband wrote me for static training, perception/md stuff like that. I've noticed my skillsets aren't on par with other people my same circle (defenses and fun stuff, lockpicking/disarm, foraging) I promised myself I'd slow down at 50th, cause I've barely scratched the surface at any rp.

Hard to though aint it? I'll give it a go!

If your character's RP is somehow related to the "Power hungry!" snippet underneith your Forum Avatar, I'd say it is perfectly valid RP that he/she spends all his/her time training. That's my character's same mentality, and I consider it valid RolePlay as long as it is consistant.

Thanks, it's good to hear that. Been trying to figure some backstory for her obsession, but I'll keep on keepin' on as they say.

It may be rather difficult to RP a truly evil/wicked person. Of course, the challenge will probably make it a lot of fun for you. Good luck.

Circle-chasing is perfectly feasible.

The simple truth is that it is hard to roleplay a veteran swordsman or dangerous mage at circle 10.

You can pretend to be elite all you want but your character needs the skills to back it up.

You know, I'll just say that I would be sorely disappointed if I buzzed through my first 50 circles. A ton of great memories come from that time period. If your goal is to get big...then what?

Let's assume you want to get "big" and play Mr. Badguy. Ok, fair enough. I will only say that there will always be people that are bigger than you. There will always be people that can hand you your lunch. So, once you realize this...you want to get bigger.

So, now you are 100-150 circle. What do you have to show for it? Do people even know your character? Do you have any memories other than modifying your script?

Play the game in a manner that gives you enjoyment. I simply state the above as points to consider as you decide the path you wish to take.

Well I certainly don't aspire to be the DR god or something...I've been hearing that most people at higher circles can all kill eachother anyways. Just want a few more options. Circle 10 you can be evil in ship rats...provided someone isn't backtraining. I wouldn't want to mess with people that are just starting out, but give people who have established themselves something to dink around with, while enjoying myself.

Incidentally, I hit 50th! Yay me...not bad for a first time player that joined in late December. (I have to admit my husband's played before and he's helped with advice alot)

Now if I hadn't been so lazy training my mech lore...I'd have a nifty familiar.

That plan worked better in my head.
