I am using GZ as my first spell, then I have ES for my second. I am currently circle 2.

I am hunting Goblins right now, but they don't get me past that, "thoughtful" so how far do I really have to hunt up to, to get it moving?

What goblins are you hunting? If you are hunting the ones that have a shield, they're probably blocking it. The way to learn TM is to do damage, it's just like a weapon. The more you damage, the better you learn. You can probably still learn TM pretty well in ship rats, if you're in the Crossing. Goblins are probably a little too tough for your TM skill at this point, unless you can hit the ones that have no shield.

If you're second circle I would be surprised if you were getting all 9 mana into the spell. Even if you are, I'm betting your PP skills are such that casting 9 at a time burns up your available harness pretty quickly. Four is the minimum prep for GZ I believe, try using that instead. You should be able to cast considerably more that way since two 4-prep spells will use a lot less attunement than one 8-prep spell.

If all else fails, IM me at GamingLady and I'll arrange a moongate for you and I'll follow you around teaching TM while you power walk for a bit. You can pick up the first few ranks very easily that way and make it easier to train in the field.

I need to get myself a small ring so I can learn MD.

Right now I am trying out Poths and Badgers. I am figuring, I should get my PM, PP, Harness up before I focus on target, Cuz I figure if I am able to cast higher, I will inflict more damage = Better target exp. Dunno if that is correct.

During night times, I head out to west gate, and Power walk, when I make it to the end and back, it brings me to the best mana spot to cast ES 5 times at 8 mana per pop. Thats why my PM and Harness are much higher then my TM. Did that for a couple days.

problem with runestones is the 60RT they give you for just focusing on it.

easiest way to learn md at your level would be to just plain and simple rub it till locked 3 second rt i think and you won't burn it up until your have about 18 ranks ,No needto worry about actually preparing the spell till you have at least 15to 178 ranks in md. i have a lil Brother that trains his md that way fast and easy lock.if you need runes i have a few spares you can have im me at chofmodr

You can "focus rune 100" to charge it to 100% of it's power and "focus rune 10" to charge it to 10%, or anywhere in between. However, you won't have much success if you have few ranks.
