Has imbue changed? I mbued a sack of wands and rods and turns out they were all bad? nothing could be imbedded into them. Anyone else have this problem?

There's some kind of issue with either the way 614 creates the item or the way 420 works on them, but I've had this experience in the past, too. I'm not sure it's a bug, per se; I think the IMBED verb is just finicky.
What I usually do, and this seems to fix it, is close all containers that have the noun "rod/wand/whatever you're imbedding" so 420 doesn't try to imbed your spell into the wrong wand/rod/whatever. Also make sure you're using the correct syntax for IMBED (e.g. you can't use "my rod"; you have to just use "rod"). Finally, make sure you're working on a fresh rod/wand as any ones you've attempted to work on before may exacerbate the problem.
